Description
Late 18th century French buffet from the Director period. The piece is made from walnut and cherry and was lovely figuring to the wood. the top is banded and follows down to paneled sides and two pairs of doors in the front which open to reveal shelving. The case is raised on lovely cubed feet in the front and simple feet in the back for easy placement against a wall. This is a wonderful piece that is transitional in style, so it could be used from the most formal to modern and informal setting.
