Description
19th-century burled walnut Louis Phillipe commode. The entire case is made up of wonderfully grained flame walnut that has been bleached to bring out the beautiful grain of the burled walnut. The piece has four drawers, a delicate strip of gilt banding, and stands gently curved block feet. The hardware is minimal so as not to detract from the patina of the wood.
